Do I need to buy my own riding helmet?

No, Coombs Stable has lesson horses available for you to use or you can bring your own horse.

Thank you for choosing to take riding lessons at Coombs Stable. If you would like to book a lesson with one of the trainers at Coombs Stable:  


  • Choose a Trainer below and click on their link.
  • To book a lesson, select a day and time that works best for you.  Everything needed for the lessons is included in the lesson cost.
  • Print and complete a liability release form and bring it to your first lesson.
  • Read the Frequently Asked Questions below for important information.
  • Coombs Stable is located at 101 Gabriel Meadows Drive in Hutto, Texas. Second driveway on your left on Gabriel Meadows Drive.  Follow driveway and it will dead end into the stable.
